The Wiki is structured around the subsections of the AQA A Specification: 6 each for Module 1 and 2, and 3 for Module 3, making 18 pages (or topics)in all. These are listed on the Home Page of the wiki (ie the FrontPage). A link at the end of each navigates back to this page (effectively a contents page). Clicking the Home button has the same effect.

Within each topic (eg EWT) the content is set out to present the core information in the form that it might be read in a textbook. Subsidiary pages from this topic take the user to more detailed information (for example a Key Study)or to activities and (eventually) assessments. Each of these is inserted as a hyperlink (see How to add content to this Wiki). Note: there should always be a link back to the original topic at the end of each of these. Include this as: [PageName|Return to Topic Name]

The suggested list of subtopics is:

  • Overviews of the whole topic. Include these as [OverViewTopicname|Overview]. This should display as just __Overview__.

  • Key Studies (ie as listed the AS Specification). Include these as [KeyStudyName|Name of study]. There is no need to restrict the number of these (remember this is not a textbook).

  • Key Theories/explanations (ie as required by the specification): [TheoryName|Name of theory].

  • Details of research studies other than Key Studies: [StudyName|Study name].

  • Extensions or further analysis of an issue. These may go beyond the requirements of the spec, but would be potentially interesting for more able (or curious) readers to follow. Include on a separate line as [ExtensionTopicname|Extension].

  • Biographies of major researchers (eg Bartlett): [BiogName|Name].

  • Activities or demonstrations: [ActivityName|Activity: Activity name].
